MLB RBI Youth Baseball League for kids 6-15 Play
Buck Leonard Baseball League
The Buck Leonard Baseball League was established in 2005 and has been an affiliate of Major League Baseball’s RBI Program (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) since 2010. Our shared mission with RBI Baseball is to:
- Increase participation and interest in baseball and softball among underserved youth
- Encourage academic achievement
- Teach the value of teamwork
- Increase the number of talented athletes prepared to play in college and professionally
Our 3-division league enrolls children ages 6- 12, and teens 13-15, in a twelve-game league schedule. Travel ball activities are also offered, contingent upon funding. Every season culminates by celebrating our achievements and effort, with the Annual Buck Leonard Awards & Food Court Extravaganza.
Would you like to help us create a positive experience for our young ballplayers? The Buck Leonard Association is seeking volunteer coaches willing to donate their time and experience as mentors and role models. Please contact league administrator Brian Patterson for more information:

More than just a baseball program, we’re committed to discovering ways to combine baseball with a healthy appreciation for academic excellence. We believe that children have more fun with a creative blend of organized play and active learning. League participants and families are offered additional exploration, discovery and personal enrichment activities through our Sports and STEAM Collective (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math).
